AFSCME members recognized by Philadelphia City Council
Two AFSCME Council 13 members were recognized by Philadelphia City Council on May 25, 2023.
Ricky Allsop, a PennDOT Highway Foreman from Local 2244, was recognized for his heroic actions that saved the life of a motorist experiencing a medical episode.
Tomeka Jones-Waters, President of Local 2587 (Philadelphia County Clericals), was recognized for her exceptional leadership as a union activist and as a Yeadon Borough Council member.
