Council 13 Convention Announcement
The 49th Annual AFSCME Council 13 Convention will be held outdoors at FNB Field in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, October 23, 2021. The Convention Call has been mailed to Local Union Presidents, and responses should be postmarked by September 30, 2021.
This year’s theme will be “The Challenge of Change,” as we reflect on the many changes the last year and a half have brought and the immense challenges that those changes have presented. Most importantly, we will celebrate the AFSCME members who have given our communities the strength to withstand it all and honor those we have lost.
AFSCME members never quit serving the public on the front lines, and their union has been proud to have their back every step of the way. Their dedication made it so we can move forward and have a chance at recovering public health and restoring economic security. This convention will offer a sense of normalcy as we safely gather to conduct the business of our great union.
