Council 13 members recognized for outstanding service by DOC
As we celebrate National Correctional Officers and Employees Week, many Pennsylvania Department of Corrections (DOC) employees received special recognition today, including Valerie Hale of AFSCME Local 2246 (State Supervisory – District 9) for her Outstanding Performance and Louis Zayon of AFSCME Local 2244 (State Supervisory – District 5 & 6) for his Innovations in Corrections/Parole, which include starting a new strategy to help re-entrants struggling with opioids.
