David Fillman reelected, David Henderson elected AFSCME International Vice Presidents
By acclamation, AFSCME Council 13 Executive Director David Fillman was reelected and AFSCME District Council 85 Director David Henderson was elected as International Vice President of AFSCME.
“I have never been more honored to represent Council 13 at the International level, and it has been an honor to sit on the board with Richard Caponi. We thank him for his years of service and wish him the best in retirement,” Fillman said.
“I know Dave Henderson will take the torch from Rich and be a powerful voice for Pennsylvania’s AFSCME members.”
This will be Fillman’s sixth term. Pennsylvania delegates of the AFSCME International Convention offered Fillman and Henderson their full support.
“I want to thank the Pennsylvania delegation and all of Council 13 for their support,” Henderson said.
“I am looking forward to working alongside David Fillman, President Saunders, Secretary-Treasurer McBride, and the other leaders of this great union to move AFSCME forward in these extremely challenging times.”
