Public Sector OSHA fight continues

Another legislative session in Harrisburg means the fight for Public Sector OSHA in Pennsylvania continues!

AFSCME members were in attendance for a recent Labor & Industry Committee meeting, including Local 2162 members Ray Haskins and Rashad Watson, who are Maintenance Repairmen in the Capitol Complex and have seen up close the need for improved safety standards.

We thank Representative Pat Harkins for his relentless efforts on this issue, and we will continue to stand with him until public service workers receive the same protections as those in the private sector.
