Organizing Victory!
The laundry and housekeeping workers at Mountain Top Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center in Luzerne County have voted by a count of 6-0 for representation by AFSCME District Council 87. This brings seven new workers to AFSCME ranks. These workers can now bargain their place in the existing contract so they, too, will have a seat at the table like their coworkers who are already represented by the union.
