Mission Statement

AFSCME Council 13 has a strong history — our members are an integral part of Pennsylvania and AFSCME's labor journey.
Every member and worker in this Commonwealth is a vital part of supporting working families.
We pledge to grow our union by organizing new and potential members internally and externally.
We are motivated to "Get Organized" and to find activists to lead the charge of strengthening our locals and our council.
We will strengthen our members' voices by inviting them to join PAL. We won't silence their voices by failing to make the ask.
On this team, every one of us is a critical piece in growing our union and moving forward.
With AFSCME Strong as our plan and our guide, we can continue to build our council to the powerhouse we know we are.
