AFSCME Council 13 Scholarship Program 2025 winners

Congratulations to the 29 winners of the 2025 AFSCME Council 13 Scholarship Program!
Scholarships were awarded to the children and grandchildren of Council 13 members and retirees.
Students submitted essays discussing how labor unions contribute to the overall effectiveness and accountability of public services, as well as how ensuring fair treatment and adequate support for public employees ultimately benefits the served communities, particularly in areas like education, healthcare, and public safety.
Winners were chosen by a Selection Committee comprised of knowledgeable, exemplary individuals. Selections are final and binding and are not subject to appeal.
