AFSCME members recognized at 2025 Governor's Awards For Excellence

Several AFSCME Council 13 members were among the 100 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania employees recognized by Governor Josh Shapiro at the 2025 Governor's Awards for Excellence.

Council 13 members were among workers from the Department of Environmental Protection, Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, and Pennsylvania State Police, who received awards for remarkable achievements and dedication to public service.

Employees from the Departments of Community and Economic Development, Conservation and Natural Resources, General Services, Labor & Industry, and Transportation, as well as the Office of Administration, were also recognized for going above and beyond in their work. 

Council 13 commends all award recipients for the vital public services they provide alongside their colleagues every single day, and we send special thanks to our AFSCME sisters and brothers for their solidarity.
