Member Leads Steward Training in Plymouth Meeting

Council 13 members from southeastern PA gathered in Plymouth Meeting for a member-led Steward Training to learn and enhance the skills needed to enforce their union contract and protect their coworkers' rights. 

AFSCME Local 1979 President Anne Radakovits led the training and said, "I teach steward classes because it's important to understand how our union works. The more we educate ourselves, the more visible we become, and that visibility is strength."
