Join us in Wilkes-Barre on Saturday, May 30, for a Union Steward Training with your AFSCME sisters and brothers! Lunch will be provided. The training will cover the roles and responsibilities of a union steward, including how to read, understand, and enforce a local union contract. We will review the grievance process and learn the mechanics of representing an employee during a pre-disciplinary conference.
